家長會每學年舉辦各項募款活動, 募得款項用以支持家長會及學校活動, 如中文商店, 歡慶中秋, 電影欣賞, 謝師宴, 畢業典禮, 及高年級課外活動等, 還有捐贈學校設備如投影機等, 這些都需要熱心家長們的大力支持. 以下將各項募款活動一一列出:

Every year, the PTA does fundraisers to raise funds to provide many services to BCS families, such as the Moon Festival Celebration, the Chinese Store, Movie Party, Pizza Party, Teacher Appreciation Party, Graduation Picnic, etc. The PTA supports school by donating school equipment, such as projectors, printers, etc.  We also sponsor class trips for the older classes.  The following is a list of all the fund raising programs:

1. 超級市場禮券訂購 (Supermarket Gift Certificates): 所得4%進入家長會, 1%進入您孩子的班級.

Every $100.00 of purchase, the PTA receives $4.00 and your child's class receives $1.00.

2. 大昌車行–家長購車贊助博根活動 (DCH Auto Group supports Bergen Chinese School):

每賣(或租)出一輛車, 大昌將贊助博根$100.00.
For any purchase/lease of an automobile through any of the dealerships under the DCH Auto Group in Bergen County, we will receive $100.00 in donations.  Please check out all the dealerships posted on the PTA bulletin board located in the cafeteria.

3. SchoolPop.com (For more details, go to www.schoolpop.com or come to the PTA desk):

A.  If we have 20 people apply for the Schoolpop Visa Card and make a purchase before the end of 2006, we will receive a $500.00 donation.

1. Shop online with hundreds of stores through Schoolpop.com, and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the PTA.
2. Funding Factory Recycling Project – bring in your old printer/laser cartridges and old cell phones for recycling and we will receive money or school supplies from Schoolpop.com.

4. 博根小吃部 (Snack Bar): We run the Snack Bar to provide our parents and students a convenient food service.  There are snacks, hot Chinese food, various beverages, and water for you to purchase.

1. 禮物籃 (Gift Baskets) (NEW !!!): This is a new idea to raise funds for the PTA.  Please support us by donating gift items.  Our volunteers will create beautiful gift baskets for you to purchase at a very attractive price before the holidays and the Chinese New Year.  It is a great way to buy gifts for your teachers and friends.  More details will be sent home in the October folder.

2. 2007博根月曆 (2007 BCS Calendar): We will sell advertising space to our parents & other merchants to support the cost of the printing fee.  It will contain class pictures, the lunar calendar, the BCS calendar, PTA activities and ads. It is a great gift for your family & relatives.

3. 2007 中國新年慶祝活動 (2007 Chinese New Year Celebration):

This is the biggest fundraiser of the year and it is also the happiest one!  We will need many volunteers to put this exciting event together.  It includes food sales, raffles, and stage performances!  It is an event you can't miss!
