The Bergen Chinese School (BCS) Lion Dance Troupe was established in 1994.  Henry Lee, Director of the Asian American Dragon and Lion Dance Association, has been the coach of the BCS Lion Dance Troupe for 9 years.  The Troupe has over 30 active members and holds classes at the Hackensack Middle School on Sundays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.  The Troupe has performed for community events and festivals at the Newark Museum, the Plaza Hotel NYC, and the New Jersey Nets (half time show), etc.  The Troupe has also performed at private occasions such as weddings and grand openings.  Besides the class of Lion dance, BCS offers Chinese language classes for children of 4 years and up as well as Chinese culture classes such as Chinese folk dance, Shaolin Kung Fu, Chinese calligraphy, and paper folding etc. For Lion dance performance info, please call 917 379-9476

博根中文學校舞獅隊成立於1994年，由「美國亞裔舞龍舞獅協會」主任Henry Lee擔任教練，達9年之久。舞獅隊有30個隊員於每週日下午4點至5點30分在Hackensack中學練習，並曾在Newark博物館、紐約廣場旅館、紐澤西Nets球隊比賽時表演，舞獅隊也在許多如婚禮及開幕等私人的場合表演。博根中文學校除了舞獅隊外，並對4歲以上的孩童提供中文及民族舞蹈、少林功夫、書法、摺紙等中華文化課程。如欲瞭解舞獅隊詳情，請電917-379-9476。
