Press release for the CSC CARE – Paper Crane Project-Update

The Chinese Service Center (CSC) USA in the Paper Crane Project –an effort to raise monies for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.
We have successfully raised $4,800.00 for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund of the Japan Society by hosting the Paper Crane Station. In the Japanese culture, with the making of 1,000 paper cranes, a wish will be granted. The goal of the CSC Paper Crane Project is to make 1,000 Paper Cranes to help fulfill the wish of rebuilding Japan.
Volunteers were at the Paper Crane station to help making these paper cranes for adoption for $2.00 donation each. Donors had the opportunity to write their wishes on the cranes. The Paper Crane Station was set up at The Philip Ciarco Learning Center of Bergen Community College and the Bergen Chinese School in Hackensack.
We would like to thanks the community of The Philip Ciarco Learning Center and the Bergen Chinese School, GS Troop #94464, Rockland Chinese School and the Wang Investment Asso., Inc. for supporting our fund raising effort.
